No Longer Feel Cut Off From Family And Friends

Hearing, like eyesight, is incredibly sensitive and dealing with hearing loss is a challenging experience that makes a huge difference in your everyday life.

Whether you have been finding it difficult to follow conversations or you need to turn up the volume on your phone when talking to colleagues, booking in for a complimentary hearing test can help you to find out why.

Hearing Tests In Rochdale

As part of our commitment to providing quality care to the community, we offer free hearing tests to catch and correct hearing loss early on. Well placed in Rochdale, near the town hall, we are independent and friendly local opticians who always strive to provide our patients with the personal touch.

Wax Removal

Our audiology department offers ear wax removal procedures that are simple, effective and only take fifteen minutes. In most cases, ear wax is a completely normal part of a healthy ear, but in some instances, it is overproduced and can cause significant hearing loss. Get in touch if you think that a wax removal procedure could help improve your hearing.

Thank you. Our Audiologist will contact you to arrange a convenient appointment.

Hearing Device Aftercare

Aftercare appointments are our way of checking in with you after you start using a new hearing device. It’s important that we reevaluate your hearing to ensure the device is still giving you the best hearing possible. We keep our appointment times flexible so you'll have plenty of time to ask for advice or discuss anything you’re not sure about.

Our Audiologist

Matt has been qualified as an Audiologist since 2013, after studying at Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge. He has worked in both the private and NHS sectors during this time, and is also qualified in wax removal via microsuction.

Matt likes spending time getting to know his patients well, in order to ensure they are provided with the right care, and the most suitable hearing instruments and solutions to help improve their everyday life. Helping patients hear better in situations specific to them is the most satisfying part of his job.

In his spare time, Matt plays bass guitar in a band and was proud to release an album a couple of years ago. He also enjoys spending time and traveling with his young family and their dog Pinto. When he’s not busy, Matt will happily sit and watch any sport on TV for hours, especially cricket!
